- Cushioning Max Cushioning
A wide, plush ride for walkers who want maximum cushioning and toe room.
The Endeavour is the pair we reach for when the forefoot needs room. The fit runs generous through the toe box, and the soft upper keeps pressure off the sides of the foot, which is welcome if you have a bunion or just hate a cramped sneaker. The Max Cushioning platform is the other half of the story: it feels high and plush underfoot, the kind of shoe that takes the sting out of a long errand day. For a walker who wants cushioning first, that combination makes sense.
We still call this a cushioning shoe rather than a stability shoe. The soft platform is lovely when you are on your feet for hours, and for heel pain, that soft landing can make a long walk feel less punishing. It does not give the same firm, guided feel as the New Balance 608 or the Arcata. If your plantar fasciitis is most sensitive first thing in the morning and you want a marshmallow under the heel, this is the one we choose; if you want a firmer platform, look at the 608.
Bottom Line
For a wide forefoot and a soft, high-stack ride, this is the pair we choose when cushioning matters more than firmness.
